Real estate developers purchase Steak & Ale property in Poplar Corridor

Memphis (Dec. 19, 2008) A pair of local real estate developers purchased the former Steak & Ale building and property for $2 million, with plans to lure another restaurant or other single-tenant user to the Poplar Corridor address.
Bernard Farber and Robert Allen, operating as RABF Holdings LLC, obtained the 6,300-square-foot building at 6201 Poplar during a sealed bid auction conducted by Chicago-based auction firm NRC Realty Advisors LLC.
The 1.3-acre site includes 110 parking spots, as well as access to both Poplar and Poplar Pike.
"It was an opportunity to get a triple A piece of property at Main and Main and add it to our portfolio," Farber says.
