I am pleased to provide you with my letter of recommendation for NRC Realty & Capital Advisors, LLC. The 24 sites we asked you to sell were widely scattered throughout four states (Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas) and included four closed stores. I believed that this would be a challenging assignment, which is why we decided to use NRC's structured sale process. You were able to reach buyers in the local markets as well as a number of regional prospects. NRC did a good job of assembling the extensive due diligence information on all of these locations for prospects to review prior to making their bids, and you also provided valuable assistance in the preparation of the sale documents.
Having bids due on the same day proved to be very efficient for us and allowed us to better gauge market interest and value. We were quickly able to make strategic decisions as to which bidders to invite to participate in the best and final bid round. Overall, NRC generated 700 inquiries and 60 hard-money bids. We accepted bids on 19 of the 24 sites offered, and NRC coordinated the closings in a very efficient and professional manner.
